Report: Juventus & Bayern Munich Keen On Galatasaray Winger Arda Turan
The talented 22-year-old is reportedly a target for Juve and Bayern, but he has committed his future to Galatasaray.
According to German sources, Serie A giants Juventus and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are ready to start a bidding war to secure the services of Galatasaray midfielder Arda Turan.
Dieter Klop claims that the Bavarians will swoop for the Turkish international if they part company with French ace Franck Ribery, who is being chased by a number of top European clubs. Bayern have reportedly set aside €11 million to lure the Turk to the Allianz Arena.
But Juventus were already linked with the 22-year-old last year and could revive their interest this summer.
Genoa are also said to be in the frame, as are Premier League clubs Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham.
However, Turan seems unfazed by the transfer speculation and hopes to stay put in his home country.
“I was born in Istanbul and I have always supported Galatasaray,” he admitted.
“I came through the youth academy and, aside from a loan spell at Vestel Manisapor, I have always worn these colours.
“My dream is to end my career here and wear the captain’s armband. I would only leave if the club told me that my departure was necessary to balance the books.”
