Bei Real Madrid fristet Ruud van Nistelrooy nur noch ein Reservistendasein. Dennoch scheint der Holländer an Reiz für internationale Topvereine nicht verloren zu haben. Premier League-Klub Stoke City hat bereits ein offizielles Angebot abgegeben, die Tottenham Hotspurs und der FC Liverpool sollen ebenfalls Interesse zeigen.



Als Favorit gilt allerdings Galatasaray Istanbul. Die Türken bieten van Nistelrooy laut ‚Daily Mirror’ neun Millionen Euro für einen Zweieinhalb-Jahres-Vertrag. Als Trumpf im Ärmel will ‚Gala’ seinen Coach und van Nistelrooys Landsmann Frank Rijkaard ausspielen: „Frank hat mich angerufen und gefragt, ob ich in die Türkei wechseln möchte. Ich denke ernsthaft darüber nach, Galatasray ist ein großartiger Klub mit hohen Ambitionen“, so van Nistelrooy. Der ehemalige Topstürmer von Manchester United hat sich bis Mittwoch Bedenkzeit erbeten.

Böyle yıllık ücretler gelmemesi daha iyi bence. 2,5 yılda çok uzun bir süre. Bu yaşta bu sakatlığı yaşamın biri için bu kadar ücret ve süreyi kimse teklif etmemz.

Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed he is considering a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.



Van Nistelrooy has struggled to force his way into the Real side this season and he has also been hampered by injury problems.



The former Manchester United ace has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be interested.



Stoke City have confirmed a wish to sign the 33-year-old, but reports have suggested Galatasaray are favourites to capture the Dutchman.



Galatasaray are coached by Van Nistelrooy's compatriot Frank Rijkaard and a two-and-a-half year contract is reported to be on the table.



Van Nistelrooy is now giving serious thought to linking up with Rijkaard in Turkey after spending the past three-and-a-half years with Real.



He is quoted in the Sunday Mirror as saying: "Frank called me and asked, 'Do you want to come to Turkey?'



"I have to think about it because Galatasaray is a great club with a positive approach."

Word about one player apparently not heading to the Premier League now, and The Sunday Mirror reports that Ruud van Nistelrooy is ready to turn down a move back to Blighty.



The paper reports that despite interest from Liverpool, Spurs and, errr, Stoke, Van Nistelrooy will instead head to Galatasaray to join Frank Rijkaard.



And their theory has quotes to back it up: "Frank called me and asked 'Do you want to come to Turkey?'" said Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuud.
