I remember in that lecture that Deila gave at a conference in Norway, he described Johansen as being ill-disciplined and and having a bad attitude. He'd managed to take him in hand at Stromsgodset and get him on the way to fulfilling his potential. Then he arrived at us, and looked like a guy who knew he was making a big step up, and was grateful for the chance. He got the head down and played well. Somewhere in there though he started believing his own hype again and forgot the qualities that had got him the move in the first place. In saying that, even at his best, Johansen's main quality was the ability to run about a lot. Gravesen without the flashes of exquisite technique. I can't really see a way back for him at Celtic and I can't think of many Celtic players I've found so hard to like.

Sorry to see the way it's worked out with SJ, and sad to see the venom he gets on here when he's leaving. Was hard to judge himl in his initial 6 months when Lennon signed him, but I thought he was outstanding in his POTY season. As fit a player at Celtic as I'd seen, and scoring goals and making them a plenty that year. Even that season, on this forum anyway, people were still giving him a hard time - I just couldn't fathom that one out.

Also, so many slagging his passing, which could be sloppy at times, but I actually remember some exquisite passes he made to set up goals and chances, particularly with the outside of the boot. A couple of them Luboesque, and I'm in no way comparing him to Lubo before anyone jumps in.

Seems last season when he really was very poor, was the death of him here though. I think a lot of the support associating him too much with Ronnie too, which maybe is a tad unfair.

I'd have liked to have seen him stick around for another year, to see if he'd get something back, but that was never going to happen with his contract situation.

Definitely wish him well. Hopefully for him he can rediscover his form. Definitely a very decent player in there in my opinion.

Had lots of energy but little ability. His goal scoring season of 2014/15 was his best ever and, given his history, was unlikely to be repeated. His petulance, positional indiscipline and his horrific passing meant I was never convinced by him. Got away with murder under Deila until he (SJ) too saw the light.

Delighted he is off.

Liked him in his first season. Full of energy and looked liked we'd won a watch, but as others have said he got a lot worse last season. My abiding vision will always be of him launching into another slide tackle and ending up trackside while the opponent moved gracefully up the pitch.
Gave the ball away far too much and lacks the composure to be a really decent player, but I wish him all the best in Turkey.

The guy is overrated in my opinion.
He gives away too many fouls, is wasteful on the ball at times and can be fairly inconsistent. He is better in the attacking role, but even then he is poor at time.
Personally I think the only reason he got so many starts last year was down to biased from Diela. He is easily found out and I think we have midfielders who can perform better in the role.

He played his best football in the attacking midfield role, but can play deeper too. When he's on form he is a good passer and ball winner. If he plays like he does in the season before last you will have robbed us blind; if he plays like last year I'd be happy to see him go. On the balance of things you are getting a good deal for only 1mil. I don't think we'd be selling him if our squad wasn't 90% midfielders

Our fans are being overly harsh on him. One excellent season and one poor one doesn't deserve the criticism he gets, but we understandably want to start a new chapter here and Johansen represents a lot of Deila's term (even if Lennon signed him).

I like the guy, he did have a bad season, and I think he often did a "tactical foul" way to much, if it is because he got found out or otherwise is debatable. Like you said he run's a lot, it gave me the impression that one he cared more than a lot of Celtic players last season and was trying to get out of the rut he and the team were in. But his playmaking was ability last season was poor mostly due to the whole team being crap.
I think if he is on form its a steal, I feel we could of got 4-6M from a championship team if he repeated the season he had in 14/15.
but i don't know the Galatasary team or system at all, so i am not fit to comment on how well he could do there.

Denayerin en iyi savunmacı seçildiği sene en iyi ortasaha seçilmiş. Yani sahaya çıkmadan yorumlara bakmak çok yanıltıcı olur.

Şu bi gerçekki bu ülkede hucüm agresifliği yüksek isimler iyi iş görüyor ben ümitliyim. Ama 4-2-3-1 olup Selçukla ikili oynarsa çok kendini yansıtamaz bence. 4-2-3-1 olacaksa Selçuku kesip İzlandadaki Gunnarson vari bir isim şart ki Delaney diyorlar o isimde.

Johansen'in Selçuk'la alakası yok Celticlilerin yorumlarına bakarsak.

Önde pres yapmak için uygun bir oyuncu diyorlar. Çok koşan, yorulmaz, agresif bir adammış.

Paslarının berbat olması ve büyük maçlarda sıfır sorumlulukla oynaması eksi yönleri.

İlk sezonunda çok iyi katkı vermiş bu sezon batırmış.

Fiyatını az bulanlar da var iyi ki kurtulduk fazla bile vermişler diyen de.

Sonuçta riskli bir transfer olarak gözüküyor. Yine de bonservisi düşük olduğu için alınabilir bir risk. Mevcut haliyle gözü kapalı ilk 11'e yazılacak bir adam gibi durmuyor tabii mutlaka defansif anlamda seviye atlatacak bir oyuncu şart.

Sneijder falan gider de onun yerine oynatırız diye düşünülüyorsa da ayvayı yediğimizin resmidir.

O çok koşan, pres yapan görüntüsünün aldatıcı olduğunu düşünüyorum ben. Agresif bir oyuncu değil yumuşak bir oyuncu izlenimi verdi daha çok bana geçen sezon izlediğim birkaç maçta. Sneijder'in yerine mi? Saçmalık olur. Orta saha rotasyonunda kendine yer bulur. Öyle bir mevki emanet edilecek bir oyuncu değil.
