Artık tek sistemle gitmiyor bu işler bence. Savunma yaparken 433 dediğin taktik 451e döner. 442 yeri gelir çok baskı yersen 460 a döner. Sistemin ne olduğundan ziyade elindeki oyuncuların sisteme uygunluğu önemli. Nasıl Sneijder varken bu takım 442 oynayamıyorsa o sistemle oynatmayacaksın. İlla oynatacaksan 4312 oynatırsın. Ama ortasahadaki üçlü zamanında sahada adım atmadık yer bırakmayan Okan Emre Suat gibi olmalı. Yoksa olmaz :)

I have to repeat here that this way of playing is exhausting. It isn’t fun, like, at all. It’s thankless work. Simeone asks his players to sprint side to side on defense, waiting for an opponent to turn his back, and then sprinting again to the ball on the off chance they might nick it away with a tackle. On the chance that happens, Atletico often then tries to quickly spring a counter-attack with Antoine Griezmann or Fernando Torres, knowing it will be their best chance to score, so again it’s full sprinting. It’s all sprinting. It’s all endless. Atletico players don’t get to show off their moves much. They don’t get to rest. There’s little glory on the field. They run, and run, and run, they defend for every inch, they live on the edge, and they sacrifice everything for the victory.

It’s exhausting to play, it’s exhausting emotionally for fans to watch. But it might be the future of soccer, or at least one future. While most top teams around the world have tried to imitate the gorgeous attacking play of the Spanish national team and Barcelona, Ranieri and Simeone tacked the other way, preaching discipline and ruthless defense. It isn’t as beautiful. There are those who hate it, calling it negative and banal and cold. This isn’t fun soccer, or rather, the fun is deferred — Atletico and Leicester City have their fun once the final whistle has blown, and they have won the game.
