Dear UEFA officials,
As you know, there is a fact of max-fixing in Turkey. Every new progress on this case, drives us to desperation day by day, on behalf of fair play. Perception of the agenda in Turkey on this subject is clearly focusing on the feeling of "match-fixing is normal and punishment is not important". We have a major concern of this situation - which is in contrast to zero tolerance approach of Uefa, the boss of European football - will hamper the development of Turkish football.
Match-fixing lobby in our country, is working hard to remove match-fixing to be a crime. This lobby was successful on nearly rewarding those arrested because of match-fixing, by making legal regulations, decreasing criminal penalties to a minimum. This lobby is launching necessary initiatives not only in Turkey, but in your foundation, as well. The words of Ali Şen, former president of Fenerbahçe, the team in the middle of match-fixing, "We will need Şenes Erzik. He can not support us obviously" is a proof of wide working area of this lobby. Also the words of Ali Şen, "Fenerbahçe would be relegated if we didn't have Şenes erzik and Mehmet Ali Aydınlar" indicates which point the situation has reached.
Turkish Football Federation, directing Turkish football, is a foundation captured by match-fixing lobby. TFF president Mehmet Ali Aydınlar's ideal is to be the president of Fenerbahçe, this can be easily seen from his past interviews on the media. In addition to this, he has bankrolled Fenerbahçe, via sponsorship of his companies. Another reason of injustice of Mehmet Ali Aydınlar about Fenerbahçe is, being a congressman of Fenerbahçe. The obvious proof of being captured by match-fixing lobby is, even not an investigation has been started, despite Nihat Özdemir from managerial staff of Fenerbahçe, has made expressions of accepting the guilt of match-fixing. If you rely on Turkish Football Federation on cleaning Turkish football from match-fixing, you will be disappointed.
According to UEFA's principals, political interference in football is unacceptable. But, in our country, this principal is being trampled on. Turkish Minister of Sport, Suat Kılıç, is canalizing decision mechanisms by statements, meaning Fenerbahçe should not be relegated. All effective poitical parties are issuing statements in this sense, and interfere football. All these developments show that, autonomy of fotball is just so-called. Unless you interfere, politicization on football will arise in our country.
Turkish Football Federation is working on changing article-58 as to stop relegating match-fixing clubs, in accordance with the demands of match-fixing lobby.Turkish Football Federation will hold a general meeting on 26.01.2011 on the purpose of getting support of clubs for cancelling relegation for once. Clubs resisting this situation are being blockaded by this lobby. Trabzonspor Club, is being domineered by TFF councils because of resisting, and Galatasary Club is trying to be involved in match-fixing events by the media organised by match-fixinf lobby. These two clubs are being considered to be convinced by these ways.
In our country, justice is formed by power and money. Match-fixing lobby largely has these two factors. If you leave Turkish football's purifying from match-fixing to dynamics in Turkey, European football will go without football industry of a 70 million country. We, turkish football lovers who believe in fair football, call you for duty. Please don't allow vicious people destroy football that we passionately love.
Yours Faithfully
