That is a crazy offer for a player that scored only five goals this season for the team that ended number five in Norwegian league - which is one of the worst leagues in Europe... He is not even the preferred player on the first team of rosenborg Rosenborg, which was a great team 10 - 15 years ago, and is now an average team. I can promise you that he will not get more than five matches for Galatasaray, before he needs to go .. It is crazy to offer Euro 4 mill for such a poor player ..

See Altomfotball.no or similar to see the real statistic about him - When I read on this forum it seems like you think he is one of the best young players in Norway at the moment? That is not correct. Also the stats you refer to on this page is him playing for the second team, agains amateur players in lower division..

Ceide is rated as the 124 best player in Norway this season - I just cant understand how Galatasaray can think about giving 4 mill euro for him..

From what I've heard, there are several clubs interested in him. Rosenborg wants 7 million euro's. Is that not crazy?

Yes it is. It is definately not worth it.. But he can suddenly become really good - who knows? But that can more or less anyone that is 20 and playing as a profesional player?

But what he has shown so far is just not good enough, for beeing sold for over 1 mill Euro. He has some few things he is good at. Like challenging on the wing agains poor defenders. The problem is always when he meet backs from the best clubs in Norway - they stop him quite easily - he is also not able to score many goals... He has had extremely many chances of scoring and ended up with 5 goals...
 
I can see you have discussed Ola Solbakken also. He is a better player, but I think he is also overrated when it comes to the cost (I guess he cost a lot more than Ceide). He is rated number 12 in Norway (Ceide is number 137), but has been a part of a team that has an extremely good coach. He is also older than Ceide... Thats in Ceides advantage

The amounts mentioned in the media for these players are far too high in my opinion. If you buy a player from Norway for 7 million euros, you can expect that he is a top talent or a permanent first-team player in the Norwegian national team.
